Hey All!  Thank you for visiting our website and experiencing more of what Double Horn Brewing Company is all about and how this little Marble Falls brewpub came into existence.

Tracy and I moved out of Austin and into the area in 2003 and have absolutely been in love with the Texas Hill Country ever since.  Although my love of craft beer started well before this, I began home-brewing in 2005 and starting thinking of how fantastic it would be to have a brewpub in Marble Falls in 2007.  Four years and many trials and tribulations later, Double Horn Brewing finally became a reality in 2011 making us the only brewery in Burnet County.

The name Double Horn has real meaning to me and symbolizes the pioneering Texas spirit found across this great state.  In that spirit, Double Horn Brewing Company is committed to providing hand-crafted beer and refined wine along with a menu focused on using locally-sourced Texas ingredients.

Barton Brosig, Executive Chef

Barton came from a family of fabulous home cooks, and he learned the value of fresh ingredients, preparation, and flavor…from parents and grandparents.  With the basics in hand, he began his career in family sports bars of St. Petersburg, Florida. Through years and friendships made through food, Barton got an opportunity to startup Bayan catering and the PAO food truck with Chef Jonji Sibyan, which is now a full blown restaurant in Tampa. He came to Texas in 2013 looking to blend a myriad of different cultures with Texas Fare, Beer, and Local ingredients. After immersion in Texan culture and with a passion for comfort food, he looks forward to feeding you at Double Horn!

Trace Murphy, Sous Chef

Trace is a native Texan and comes to the Hill Country from Virginia where he honed and cultivated his culinary prowess.  He began his career at age 18 as a line cook for a prestigious Brinker restaurant.  From there, he accepted the challenge of Executive Chef for an award-winning BBQ restaurant.  Wanting to expand his knowledge base of fine-dining, Trace continued his training as a Sous-Chef at Blue Mountain Brewery, earning accolades such as Employee of the Year and Top Chef.  He is now excited to return to Texas to share his signature dishes such as PB&J wings, Tomato Bacon Bisque, and award-winning St. Louis cut Ribs with Virginia style BBQ sauce.

Andrew Mient, Front of House Manager

Andrew started working in restaurants at the age of 17.  He has worked for prestigious companies such as Darden and Brinker.  He studied Business Administration at Penn State, with an emphasis on marketing and management.  Throughout his collegiate career, Andrew studied Business Ethics, Marketing, Conflict Resolution, and Early Childhood Development.  He has continued his education at the University of Phoenix, with studies in Psychology and Philosophy.  Andrew now joins the Double Horn team with the hopes of making this restaurant a leader in Marble Falls.
